1st group gift

We have present our first group gift at Stylin' U. The gorgeous eyes are free for group members just follow the slurl to the lobby, join the group and pick up your EYES ON U Eyes. Enjoy.

STYLIN' U

A Stylin' U Surprise.

I promised a couple of surprises and here they are in random order. First of all, a photo tour of the new Stylin' U facility built by my friend Lala Sweetpetals Monday! She's amazing. 

First here is the view of our back yard from the 2nd floor of the Stylin' U building. 

Outside you can see the table and chairs which are Multi-pose items from Glitterati. Also is our couples tree. with some really cute Couples Animations.

This is the pose house. All of the furniture inside is furniture to take some nice pictures. Including the Female Posing Bed from Glitterati.

Here is the view of the Stylin' U Building from the back yard.

What you can see here is one of the side views from the back yard. That black think on top is the Runway Prop from Olive Juice. Its got Multi-avatar posing so you and your friends can come and have a runway shoot.

The back of the pose house. We have waves crashing against the rocks and its absolutely beautiful.

Also want to let the KITTY CATS fans know that you can come on over and hang out in the yard and take some pics with you kitties as mine are scattered pretty much everywhere.

The Fountain area is where we will hold our events like parties and fashion shows. Also surround this area are outdoor single poses like our Peace Sign Prop, and Posing flowers, as well a few couples poses and group poses, like our Jumping rope and a couples bench. In the fountain area is 3 pose balls for you and your friends to get a good  picture of fountains and the sky in the background.

Here is the lobby. This is just off to the left of the place where you will teleport in. If you need help, most of the time you can find someone there. Or you can me running around somewhere

When you land. You will see our logo fountain, advertising signs, and Rezz area. You can rezz objects here. You can pick up Landmarks to places like Glitterati and more. You can also take a picture or two standing in front of the fountain.

The Olive Juice Runway located on the second floor. On the second floor you will also find the group, and couples poses and props

The Photo Studio located on the 2nd floor above Hallelujah's office.

This is the pose stand Studio Box. Click the box and you can change the textures. In each box there are several different ones including the solid colors of Black, White, and Gray. These Textures are set to full bright so that if you are using a solid texture, it will give your photo a seamless look in the background.

Here is the very front of the facility look at the gorgeous sunset. You can sit on the bench that contains some great poses and get yourself some amazing sunset pics.

The main lounge just off the lobby. Sit and relax with friends and while your at it. Grab the freebies on the table.

The main pose area. This is primarily female, but there are few male and unisex poses mixed in. You can find directions on how to rezz your poses and Studio box at the end of the hall just off of the Landing point.

Not bad for a first try

So tried my first "real" retouching on GIMP today. I used a picture of my SL BFF Lina, and here is the end result. I must say. Its not too shabby for the first try.

Also here is a  photo  from my first "Real" Client. I will gladly do some photo work of you. IM me or stop by Stylin' U in world for details.

Self Help?

I am learning some new things. I am taking some GIMP tutorials and improving on my photo skills. Just want to show that if you are someone who likes to take pictures in SL but can't afford Photoshop there is always the GIMP application with tons of scripts and plug ins for downloads. Anyway, I've notice that there are some links I should post regarding Stylin' U so feel free to check them out and I'm going to post a couple of pics as well.

Getting into the Biz

Okay so I have been very busy with SL and Rl combined and have been shorting my blog posts. No worries, I'm not going away for months on end, I am just taking a couple of days to fix some issues. However, I wanted to share a couple of little things. I am now getting into the breedables business. I have a couple of them for sale at the Stylin U lot, only a couple, the other 14 are mine. I also have a Non-Breedable kitty for sale as well. I'm going to post some random pics so that you can see what they look like.

I am attempting to get into the make up business. I don't know about you, but I want some good full face makeup that is only one tatoo layer and not several. So I'm going to attempt it. Awesome huh? Well here are some pics of some of the kitties. If you're interested on knowing which ones are for sale (or trade) Please send me an IM.

Look how cute. I may have one of these for sale. We'll see.

Ah yes, my work on her is done

Meet my friend Nicola. She was away from SL for about a year and found one of my Advertisements. She sent me an IM Telling me that she desperately needed my help! I was more than willing to do so of course. Look at her before picture on the left and her after picture on the right. A completely different AVI you ask? No! Same girl. And I'm going to tell you how I took her from Drab to FAB!

First we started with her shape. Her shape was full perm and I asked her to give me a copy for a bit of tweaking. The only thing that I did, was adjust the facial features. The body, I kept exactly the same. First of all, I changed the head shape ever so slightly. Then took the Stats of my own Shape and modified her face. I took the lips from the original picture, in which the lower lip was almost twice the size of the upper. Trust me, pictures can be deceiving. And I adjusted the shape of that as well as the nose. I also made the eyes a bit more narrow and took the Cheek Bones Down from 100. So, after that modification, I gave her her shape back! Thank God.

Next I went though my inventory and found a few Full perm Skins and chucked them her way. Same with hair. Found a couple that are full perm and I gave them to her. The final step...Sending her off to Fab Free headquarters to get some stuff, including the Blue outfit she is wearing in the right picture. Told her to chuck the Outfit, skin and hair from the Left side because well, unless she wanted to go around looking like a noob, they needed to go.

And of course, You see the Before result and the After Result.

Tour of Stylin' U in world.

Still in the process of really getting the place up to par, but, I am going to take you on a photographic tour of the Stylin' U facility in world. 

Here is part of our first floor. You will see our logo sign and the reception area upon entry. In the reception area, you can find our group joiner, our donation Box, picture screens, and reception desk. On the reception desk you will also find 2 landmarkers. One in Pink containing freebies for Females and one in Blue containing freebies for males. Directly behind the Reception desk you will find our lounge with comfy twisty sofa's, our stylin' u coffee table photo book and a tv that the public can watch. 

From Here, if you turn around and look to your left, you will see our freebie wall containing freebies from Smushyface as well as Free Rave Gear, Weapons, Clothing, LM's, Gestures and more. 

Just on the other side of lounge wall we have our shared media lounge four you viewer 2 and compatible viewer users.  where you can surf the web. Show your Flickr photos to friends while in world or sit and watch movies you can't get on our NAT TV's.

Just outside, back on the porch next to our main logo we have our Rezz Area that anyone is welcome to use to un-pack their boxes. Just remember to delete them or take them with you when you leave.

The 2nd floor consists of our Stylin' U studio with Pose Props and a Photo Studio. The pose props are free to use at any time and but there is a 50L fee for use of the Photo studio. We have pose props from Glitterati, Lear and more. Our Actual photo studio consits over over 600 poses and 500 back grounds.

See these white things? We call them our pose hubs. Each of these contains a bright white background so that they are easier to cut out if you want to cut your avatar picture out using Photoshop or Gimp. Each contains different posing items including Multiple pose posing stands. 

Also with just a touch you can change your color options on the Pose Hubs. One touch and you have many options including Greyscales.

The 3rd floor consists of primarily the same, including an all Male Pose stand, some couple poses and some Unisex Pose props as well as  another Shared Media Screen (not shown) and lounge area. Also outside the front door, (forgot to mention) We have a UNA game table that you and your friends are welcome to use at any time.

New on the Stylin' U Freebie wall

My friend Umeki Yokosuka, Owner and creator of Smushyface, has donated a couple of adorable items to the freebie wall. the Fancy Flower Tourmaline Earrings and the Peridot Belly jewel in the pic below. Closed for 24 hour

Stylin' U inworld is closed for about 24 hours or so due to the fact that I am having my sl bff Lina Monday build a whole new building for me. It will be more Avatar friendly as well as more professional. More space and more fun. So hang in there and we'll reopen ASAP!
